Licensing
Moose's Money makes business-purpose loans secured by non-owner-occupied investment property, to entity borrowers (LLCs and corporations). In the states where we lend, these loans do not require a lender license. We do not make consumer loans or loans on owner-occupied property.
Where we lend
We fund business-purpose loans for investors in most U.S. states. Lending rules vary by state, so if your property is in California, Arizona, Nevada, Vermont, or the Dakotas, reach out first and we'll let you know what's possible. In Minnesota, Oregon, Idaho, and Utah we work on commercial and 5+ unit multifamily only. See where we lend.
Third-party lenders and approvals
We don't lend on every deal. Where a request falls outside what we fund directly, we may arrange financing through third-party lenders, subject to that lender's own underwriting and approval. Nothing on this site is a commitment to lend, and all loans are subject to underwriting.
Referral compensation
Referral compensation is paid from Moose's Money's share of the origination fee and is contingent on the loan funding. Partners are responsible for compliance with licensing requirements in their state.
